Alignment Scraping:

A nearly lost art of scraping machine ways and surfaces, replacing and scraping linear bearing materials such as Rulon, Turcite and in some cases Nylon, Spindle Bearing, Babbitt bearings and Bushings.

Precision Spindle Repair and Rebuilds:

IMTS is a spindle service company with an expert staff and years of combined experience in spindle design, modification and reconditioning/repair.  If you need to rebuild, refurbish, retrofit spindles or need a complete new spindle system, IMTS has the expertise to get the job done.  We offer complete Retrofits, Frequency Drive conversions, Chiller additions and replacements and increased horsepower or RPM increasing packages.

BallScrews:

IMTS will replace, rebuild, recondition, retrofit or re-align Ball screws, Linear Actuators and Lead Screws.  In many cases IMTS will convert Acme or lead screws to Ballscrews systems to increase speed, improve productivity/reliability and reduce friction.  Replacement can be performed with precision Ball Screws, rolled Ballscrews, anti-backlash Screws, double ballnut Screws and Stretched Ball Screws or most anything your application requires.

Linear Guides:

IMTS will replace, rebuild, recondition, retrofit you linear guide systems.

Gearboxes:

IMTS has over 30 years of experience Rebuilding, Reconditioning, Repairing, Replacing and Retrofitting Precision gearboxes of all types.

Removal and Installation, Dismantle inspect, failure analysis, Gear replacement and clearance setting, reverse Engineering of gears and components, Housing repair, machining and epoxy coating.  Bearing seal and shaft replacement.  Key way and shaft journal repairs, gear cutting and alignment.

Hydraulic, Pneumatic and lubrication systems:

IMTS has experience with repairing, upgrading and replacing all types of hydraulic pneumatic and lubrication systems.  From retrofitting hydraulic drive and cylinder applications to Servo and electric actuators eliminating complete hydraulic and pneumatic systems to replacing systems and reconditioning old systems to new condition.  IMTS system services include;  Filter and line replacement, new hoses, tank, valve replacement, cleaning and inspections.

 Complete Turn-key Machine Relocation's.

Operator shuts down machine as if going home for the evening and hits "Cycle Start" when he arrives at new location.

  Machine De-Commissioning and Re-commissioning.

Back up all CNC data, perform alignment checks, drain fluids, dismantle and prepare for safe transportation.  Once machine is set in the new location;  IMTS will Level, Anchor, Assemble, Startup, Debug and Document alignment and accuracy checks.  Laser and Ball-bar inspections are also available.

   New Plant Preparations: Wiring, Lighting, Pneumatics and Foundations.

IMTS will perform all facility electrical, communication, pneumatic and foundation engineering, installation and plumbing prior to Machinery Relocation.
